And so... I returned, set out on Sunday morning and arrived in Brazil on Monday morning, this time with a lot less drama than usual. Everything ran smootly, except that I still cannot manage to sleep on the plane... I even had two seats to myself... needless to say I arrived very tired!!
On arrival to my home I was met by a shock... the dirt, grime, dust, mould... ugh! It was horrible! There were ants in the fridge and little ants crawling on everything.... not what you want to see after spending 5 weeks in cleanliness!! I was sooo tired I couldn't face starting to clean... so I did enough to make it possible to take a shower and go to bed. Then Tuesday morning I got up and attacked my house with disinfectant spray, bleach, soap and after 2 days it was clean and all my suitcases were emptied and everything as back in the right place again!!! And I could finally breathe a sigh of relief! The thing is Brazil is such a dusty country usually and then the last weeks have been raining so much (Northern Ireland type weather), the windows dont shut properly and there are leaks in the roof... hence after abandonment of a few weeks = dirty house!!! Talk about culture shock!

So, I am now ready to start back to work ... and get my hands dirty with all the work to be done. As I have been given the update there is A LOT of work to be done. So please pray for me as I settle and get back to the work here in Brazil. I will update you soon on how it is going.
